This was taken from the speeding bus. The driver was en route to the Tong-bong cooperative but he overshot and made a quick U-turn once he saw this village. The sign has "3 revolutions" and "agricultural reform" propaganda scrawled on it, so it’s old-school all the way.

Every large city in every developing nation has its scrap parts district. In Kigali, it is Gatsata. Here, a man welds a mirror onto a minibus. Parts from numerous wrecked buses are salvaged to create a new-ish minibus, or share taxi.
